Our Children
Thanks Willie! You did a great job and got more exercise then you were bargaining for! \"/ \"/
Right now I'm overwhelmed with two things. #1. How precious, delightful, and fun our children are. #2. How difficult parenting is. There is SO MUCH MORE to parenting then putting clothes on them and shoveling food into 3 mouths.
Child #1 has grudge holding abilities, a lot of self righteousness, is bossy and controlling. She can name things that her brother and others have done to her days ago, but she, of course, never does ANYTHING wrong!!
Child #2 knows what he should do, but can't do it. (I am amazed at how his body works! Yesterday he was put to bed for a nap, which he did not take. He came out of his room and when asked what he was doing out of bed, he replied," My feet wanted to get out of bed!" So, the rest of him HAD to listen to his feet, of course! On Thursday, he was supposed to pick up the puzzle pieces that he had scattered all over the living room floor and he wasn't obeying. He said, "My head and eyes and tummy and feet want to pick up the puzzles, but my hands don't want to!" That happens nearly every day. Certain parts of his body want to obey, but the parts that don't, always win!)
Child #3 is just your typical 21 month old child. \"/
And we love them so much!!!! \"/ Every day is a challenge and a blessing! It is so fun to teach Aubrey! She amazes me with her learning abilities! \"/ And Kyler did a whole preschool book in 1 day!! He just might like books after all. And Miss Mya... She's such fun! Her favorite book is 'Are you my Mommy?' She jabbers on and on about 'bunny' and talks in this sad voice for the baby bunny looking for his Mommy. And the on the page where bunny finds Mommy, she laughs and talks loudly about 'bunny' and 'mommy'. She copies this people do and expressions and it can be hilarious! Oh, but she MUST have the nippy AND her poodle close by at all times....
Have a Blessed day!! \"/

ReplyDeleteYour children sound a lot like the children that live at my house. (minus the 21 month old.;)) parenting is just plain tough! Like I just told Leon....my relationship w/ my one son has improved greatly from 3+ years ago, except for 10 AM -12 AM each day. Whatever that says. Mucho wisdom to you from Him.
